TOKYO (Oct. 4, 2024) - FOAMSTARS™, the vibrant, online 4v4 foam party shooter from SQUARE ENIX, is now free-to-play on PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4. Those with or without a PlayStation®Plus subscription can now play the game for no entry charge.

■About FOAMSTARS
FOAMSTARS is a vibrant, over-the-top shooter, that is accessible to players of all skill levels. It combines the fun of partying with the thrill of combat where players blast through matches using foam to attack, build and defend. Taking control of a quirky and colorful ensemble of athletes, players are dropped into the eccentric city of Bath Vegas to compete in FOAMSMASH. Created as a casual yet competitive experience for everyone, FOAMSTARS features a combination of PvP and PvE modes for up to eight players, either as four vs. four, solo, or co-op as a Squad with three teammates.

■New Season DIAMOND JAM
Alongside the update, SQUARE ENIX launched DIAMOND JAM, the eighth season for FOAMSTARS. Running from October 4, 10AM (JST) until November 8, 10AM (JST), DIAMOND JAM brings players more ways to have fun with new maps, boss battles, seasonal events and more.
■SMASH THE STAR New Maps！
With DIAMOND JAM, players can now experience five maps that were previously exclusive to RUBBER DUCK PARTY in SMASH THE STAR, including: Dancefloor Dreamland／Shoreline Shoppin' Spree／Rubber Duck's Spa-larious Oasis／Fusion Coaster Kingdom／Sing Swing Circus
■New WAVE Boss Battles During SQUAD MISSIONS
Additionally, players can enjoy new WAVE boss battles during SQUAD MISSIONS as well as limited-time seasonal events including RANKED PARTY, where players compete to climb the ladder of one of the seven ranked glories with teams or solo and EXTREME PARTY, which features multiple events, all with special rules!
■Season Pass
DIAMOND JAM Season Pass players will receive a foam gun skin for The Baristador, as well as slide board skins and a Ramzey character skin for free. Players can obtain XP by completing battles, missions and Weekly Challenges to advance through the season tiers and earn various rewards such as additional skins and items. Players who purchase a Premium Season Pass will unlock even more rewards as all rewards up to each player's current tier will be unlocked immediately.
